Senior Associate
Marcy Casement is an accomplished senior consultant and analyst in the energy industry with expertise in health, safety, and environment (HSE). She has more than 20 years of experience working with oil and gas, high-tech, trade association, and federal government clients with an emphasis on program development, and strategic and technical communications. She has expertise in communicating complex and technical information in the areas of environmental management, policy, industry standards, processes, and change management.
Marcy has specialized skills in project management with an emphasis on planning and communication; policy analysis; program governance frameworks; gap analysis; global program design and development; capability development; stakeholder communications and engagement; process improvement; identification; and application of metrics. She has excellent writing, editing, and analytics skills and is uniquely adept at synthesizing, coordinating, and integrating input from a wide range of subject matter experts.
Marcy was a key contributor to two National Petroleum Counsel studies and co-author for several industry best practice guides. She has extensive experience in developing policy, processes, procedures, and communications in environmental risk management, marine terminal management, and emergency preparedness and planning.
Marcy has a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor’s from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a long-time volunteer and advisory council member at Cityteam Oakland, a homeless shelter, community meal center, and resource and recovery center serving the needs of low-income and disadvantaged families and individuals in Oakland.
