Vaughn has more than 30 years of experience helping organizations across the oil industry value chain address strategic challenges and strengthen operational capabilities.

He began his career in oil exploration and corporate planning at ExxonMobil, followed by over two decades in management consulting, where he specialized in strategy and business transformation services.

Since joining Stillwater Associates in 2014, Vaughn has led engagements in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Strategy service lines, supporting clients with insight-driven solutions across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.

Vaughn holds a BSc in Geophysics, a Master’s in Economics, and is a CFA charterholder.
